When a surge in container imports overwhelmed Southern California’s distribution networks in 2020, there was an urgent need for a place to stage trailers near the freeway system.
The EPD Solutions team helped meet that need at Glen Helen, right at the interchange of the I-15 and I-215, just south of Cajon Pass. What started as an emergency parking permit has grown into a permanent, 55-acre facility with 893 truck trailer stalls across two sites.
Getting there took a deliberate, phased development strategy built on years of due diligence, stakeholder coordination, and entitlement alignment.
