Project Description:
EPD managed the entitlements for the Highway 46 Logistics Center project, which included a General Plan Amendment, Zone Change, and a Plot Plan to construct nearly 2 million square feet of warehouse space on 112 acres outside of Lost Hills in northern Kern County.
EPD managed communications with County staff, reviewed technical studies and peer reviewed the project Environmental Impact Report (prepared by a County contractor), and negotiated mitigation measures and conditions of approval. EPD also represented the project before the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors. EPD also prepared a traffic impact analysis pursuant to Caltrans requirements. Following approval, EPD provided assistance to the property owner in conditions compliance in preparation for development.
