Project Description:
Hemet Solar is a 20-MW solar photovoltaic (PV) energy generation facility. The project encompasses approximately 94 acres adjacent to Hemet-Ryan Airport. EPD managed the entitlement of the project, including a Conditional Use Permit and reviews by the Riverside County Airport Land Use Commission and the Federal Aviation Administration. EPD prepared a Mitigated Negative Declaration for CEQA compliance.
