Mr. Albert’s services at EPD include assisting with the preparation of policy, environmental, and entitlement documents. He also aids with project design, graphic presentation, the development of design guidelines, and preparation of public presentations. He has been accredited by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and achieved status as a LEED Accredited Professional. He is also a member of the American Planning Association and Urban Land Institute.
Mr. Albert graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in City and Regional Planning from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and has a Master of Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach.
Mr. Albert has assisted in the preparation of a range of entitlement documents, including Specific Plans, Specific Plan Amendments, and General Plan Amendments. He has been involved with entitlement and other documentation for projects ranging from high-rise buildings on small infill sites to master-planned communities spanning thousands of acres.
Mr. Albert has assisted with the preparation of various environmental documents in compliance with CEQA and NEPA requirements, including Initial Studies and Environmental Assessments, Negative Declarations, Mitigated Negative Declarations, and Environmental Impact Statements/Reports.
Mr. Albert has assisted with project management, graphics preparation, and public relations activities for a variety of projects. He has worked with a consultant team to assist a major university in its communications and outreach efforts; with developers of major, high-density urban projects; and with public presentations for new master-planned communities.
Mr. Albert has experience working with various software programs that are useful in the planning process, including the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office suite.
